Holy Communion

Holy Communion. Also known as the Lord’s Supper or the Eucharist. This is central part of Sunday morning worship. Responding in faithfulness to Jesus’ command that we remember, we pray recalling Jesus’ words to us. Following his model, we share bread and wine (or grape juice) as a way of belonging and remembering.

Everyone is welcome to this sacrament (holy celebration), which we offer most every week. Children as young as three years old are welcome to participate in a First Communion class and prepare to take their place at the table. Anyone who prefers not to take communion or very small children are welcome to come forward to receive a blessing.
